To walk to Llyn Elsi from the car park in Betws-y-Coed, follow these steps:
Start at the Pont-y-Pair car park in Betws-y-Coed LL24 0BW.
Head towards St. Mary’s Church. The trail to Llyn Elsi begins behind the church.
Follow the path uphill through the woodland. The trail is well-marked and takes you through beautiful forest scenery.
Continue on the path as it winds through the forest, crossing a few streams and forestry tracks.
Reach the lake after a steady climb. The walk is about 3.9 miles (6.3 km) and takes approximately 2 to 3 hours at a leisurely pace.
